Meeting between French Industry and PFAN Members
Pak-France Alumni Network (PFAN) arranged a PFAN-Industry liaison meeting on November 11, 2011 at 7:00 pm at Islamabad Club. President PFAN, Dr Amir Qayyum, welcomed all guests and presented a brief introduction of PFAN and expertise of its members that can be beneficial for the industry. After a brief presentation, different representatives from the industry, including the Senior Vice President of Chamber of Commerce of Rawalpindi, Mr Raja Aamer Iqbal, and the representatives from Schneider Electric, MAZARS Consulting and TRG Tech shared their views on how this forum can be utilized more efficiently. The evening concluded with a diner and a photo session.

Seminar by the Mountaineer Ms. Sophie Denis

Visit of Natural History Museum
PFAN arranged a visit of NHM on July 09, 2011 at 10: 30 am. PFAN members were welcomed by the DG PMNH and his staff. Dr. Nayyer Iqbal and other staff provided a guided tour of the museum to PFAN members. Different sections of the museum, like botony, zoology and earth sciences, etc. were visited, and different stones and their shapes, different insects, animals, birds, trees etc. were seen. At the end of the visit, a documentry related to trees and environment was seen. It was a very interesting and useful visit for kids. Dr. Khalid Saleem thanked the Director General of Natural History Museum and Dr. Nayyer on behalf of PFAN for extending his cooperation and help for this guided visit.
